It Is Still, Tonight

It is still tonight
I can see the stars so bright
The only sound that I do hear
is Your breath, as You draw near
You are my God,
My Lord, my King
You are One,
and to me, You mean everything
It is still, tonight
It is You, I see.
The song in the night,
the heart knowing,
I've done right
It is still You, I keep in sight.
Faraway cries of a dear little one,
calling Your Name
It is still You, the Son,
Dancing, and praising,
 the reason You came.
It is still,
no sound in the air
Your fragrance
 of peace joy and love
It is still You,
and..I give You my cares.

Trust

trust

trust in Me, the Lord said today
I will show you a better way
trust in what I say.. I will do
I am Jesus and I love you!

leave yesterdays sorrows at My feet
take My hand, for I am sweet
I will give you a mansion on a hill
follow My words.. learn to be still

I am Jesus, the Shepherd and Lord
trust yourself to Me, live in one accord
give Me your heart, soul and mind
I will teach you to love, and to be kind.

I am Grasshopper,
You've known me from the start
I will trust you Jesus,
here, here is my heart.

Tears In A Bottle

6/08/02

Tears in a bottle

Tears in a bottle, filling up fast
How many tears to get past, the past?

Tears in a bottle, shed each day
wishing the hurt to just go away.

Tears in a bottle for losing my faith long ago
not knowing He cared, so I just let go.

Tears in a bottle filled with rage and pain
can this heart of mine stand the strain?

Tears in a bottle held by His hand
tears still shed, will He understand?

Tears in a bottle marked with my name
will you help me, I live in shame?

Tears in a bottle for the lost childhood
memories linger, heart feels like wood.

Tears in a bottle, sometimes not so bad
sometimes filled with wonder, sometimes glad.

Tears in a bottle, He holds them for me
someday those tears will show me I am free.

In His love,
Grasshopper
